Picked up a few books I'm really excited to get to! I got so much great stuff to read now 😊

@mayadeane.bsky.social Wrath Goddess Sing. IS SUCH a good book. I'm extremely happy to have left my science fiction/fantasy comfort zone for this one.
i adore this book, i recommend it. extravagantly generous, wide-awake, beautiful, ugly. "holy fuck" and "oh god, no" both things i said aloud while reading.
Or Wrath Goddess Sing which oscillates between "I am going to go for complete historical accuracy" and "HELEN OF TROY WAS A WITCH HERE IS A SCENE WHERE THREE CHARACTERS FUCK AND TURN INTO GREEK GODS DURING INTERCOURSE WHILE GENDERBENDING!!"
This is an extremely helpful guide for how to discuss this with the lay public. And these people can comment too! Its been really fun to see some of my non-scientist friends and family comment on the register after talking it over with them.
The UK sucks, but on my holiday I read Wrath Goddess Sing, about trans woman Achilles, and it absolutely fucking slaps.
Happy Pride! Buy Trans Books!
I heartily endorse this exact June purchase.

in homage to Robert Jordan, I will recommend 13 hot evil books for Pride. 1. PLASTIC, PRISM, VOID by Violet Allen (truth is beauty, beauty truth, Gundam pilots hot, duel your feelings) 2. THE DINNER PARTY by the irrepressible Cat Fitzpatrick (several books in a trenchcoat to shoplift fine wine)
Happy Pride! Buy trans books!
