FYI to the world: The cover art for the new edition of Plague Birds is not AI generated. Two people messaged me asking, so I want to be clear the art is purely human created.
Marcela BolÃvar created the art for this cover and didn't use any AI at all. 1/

i adore this book, i recommend it. extravagantly generous, wide-awake, beautiful, ugly. "holy fuck" and "oh god, no" both things i said aloud while reading.
I heartily endorse this exact June purchase.
Or Wrath Goddess Sing which oscillates between "I am going to go for complete historical accuracy" and "HELEN OF TROY WAS A WITCH HERE IS A SCENE WHERE THREE CHARACTERS FUCK AND TURN INTO GREEK GODS DURING INTERCOURSE WHILE GENDERBENDING!!"
Have you read Robyn Gigl's Erin McCabe books?
Also I'm reading the rerelease of Rachel Pollack's A Secret Woman.
They're both much more "the investigator" detective fiction than horror per se but may be worth a look
what if they know how to get to the center of the world and find the flame imperishable? it would be ruinous not to ask.
this might be the review I needed to see this movie
Picked up a few books I'm really excited to get to! I got so much great stuff to read now 😊
It was actually seeing Jason's original PB cover that convinced me I had to get Marcela Bolivar to do mine.
and if they're like "idk where it is but I'm going back out into the void to look for it after this" it might be a red flag but it also might be the start of a beautiful friendship
