People doing some ocean foraging. I’ve done a lot of spearfishing and lobster and crab freediving where I am and we gather up other stuff along the way. I’ve even eaten fresh raw scallops while still treading water out on the ocean. There are lots of good eats you can get
BBQ competition style chicken thighs. Skin gets removed or pealed and goes back on after seasoning. Sometimes they scrape it. Skin should be bite thru and not tear when the judges taste. The thighs get trimmed up to be uniform shaped. Some peeps even put them in molds so they all look the same
Can’t get any fresher than that. Ceviche of sorts made fresh out on the water. I’ve made it fresh on boats before and sushi cuts and things but never on one of my paddle boards or kayaks. And that Aji Amarillo paste is good stuff. Used in a lot of Peruvian dishes
Dino ribs from Terry Black’s in Texas. So good. I’m cooking some up soon but I’ve gotta got to a to a local butcher to get them where I am
It’s that time of year to plant veggies if you haven’t already started them in spring. Anyone ever do any vertical ones? Pricey to do but they save space. I’ve got a couple of them and I’ve designed and installed ones in other places. Had some at a previous office too
