RELATED, one of my favoritest etymologies EVER: the English words “lord” and “lady” come from the old english “hlaford” and “hlæfdige”, respectively compounds of hlaf + weard and hlaf + dæge, meaning LOAF KEEPER and LOAF KNEADER
If I were Kumiko, I'd be a lot more concerned that my husband was having these long conversations about his personal life with a teenager than I would be about him hugging a woman. Adults can be friends with kids, but there's a point where healthy people tell the child to mind their own business. 🐾
