I sure do live in McDonaldland, and we sure 'nuff made the goddamn Hamburglar president. Twice. Mac Tonight is rolling in his grave.
Having seen more of the news, apparently I was biking home in just the prefect place when the storm hit Chicago. There were trees split in half like 4 miles up the road but where I was, I just got VERY rained on.

I just found out that Doug Jones played Mac Tonight in 27 of the 29 commercials between 86 and 97. I also didn't remember McDonald's was still using the character as late as 97. A truly insane era of advertising. I kinda miss it.
