The Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Gender and Women's History has been launched, including my chapter 'Women and Divorce Law in England and Wales, 1537–2022'. I had great fun writing it and I'm proud to be published alongside so many amazing authors writing on such importantly and timely topics.
I had the pleasure of reviewing Alison Phipps’ book. As we grapple with various forms of state violence, Phipps shows us how acts of enclosure & exploitation link the dynamics of racial capitalism to sexual violence. A vital text for dialogue & action against domination. See here: shorturl.at/nNm60

A reminder: you do not need a biological definition of a personal characteristic to address discrimination that relates to it (see race, sexual orientation, religion, etc). Discrimination is a social and political phenomena, institutionally entrenched, and biology is not the answer to stopping it.
