The Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Gender and Women's History has been launched, including my chapter 'Women and Divorce Law in England and Wales, 1537β2022'. I had great fun writing it and I'm proud to be published alongside so many amazing authors writing on such importantly and timely topics.

A reminder: you do not need a biological definition of a personal characteristic to address discrimination that relates to it (see race, sexual orientation, religion, etc). Discrimination is a social and political phenomena, institutionally entrenched, and biology is not the answer to stopping it.
