Every crime in which an ethnic or cultural minority is the perpetrator used to justify repression or worse of minorities. Every crime in which a minority is the victim used to argue for the idea that ethnic diversity is inherently unstable and should be reduced or eradicated.
Why would anyone want to work in this sector then? Serious question. We don't all want to *just teach*, and it's not how the vast majority of us *train*. I know it's unfashionable to say it but I got into this primarily to research and write and it's what I am good at.

If it wasn’t bad enough that the govt barred entrants on the health and care worker visa from bringing dependents since March 2024, they have also sent letters to children of parents who arrived legally under the previous rules telling them to leave the country www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...
