@washingtonpost.com rely on Burkhauser & Corinth @nber.org showing poverty declines before the 1963 came from wage increases rather than non-wage support - also overlooking the role of unions in raising wages-particularly for Black workers who were previously shut out of most unions.

The Radicalism of the American Revolution was the first book I read in graduate school. It made me so mad I considered dropping out, mostly because of the way he downplayed the contradiction of slavery. I've come to appreciate Wood's scholarship over time, even as I continued to disagree.

Well, I'm happy to learn that Trump hasn't broken everything. I renewed my passport just over a week ago and got it in the mail today! The regular process (not rushed) and fully online (I took the photo with my phone).
