This is a fantastic statement from Labour's rainbow spokesperson Georgie Dansey (who i don't think is on bsky yet!). I've been critical of the way Labour have talked about trans issues so here's me giving credit where it's due again - this is exactly what we need to see from them, thank you Georgie!

In remainder of the week Iām gonna go to my local āmeet the candidateā thing in my neighborhood and bang the drum for human rights issues, Iām gonna go to the day of action and shout for my people. Iām gonna be a part of my community.
And Iām going to sing on Saturday night. Find joy, be hope.
I am sure I am not the only one feeling sick and overwhelmed this evening with this world, these wars, those hateful movements, this government, that dehumanising law, those restructuresā¦ the list goes on and gets closer and closer to home.
