Too much?
Someone is trying to stand out from the crowd.
Blending in was getting exhausting!

DevLog 012 - So, I spent unhealthy amount of time watching animals walk or run.
The walks of a monkey/lemur/wolf are distinct.
But just in one animal, sometimes the way they walk is completely different from the way they trot or run. 🤯

I am working on building this world bit by bit, creature by creature.
This one crawls and hops around.
What vibe does this one give you?
How is Monday moving for you?

DevLog 010 - What's the weirdest Long-necked creature you have ever seen? Maybe Loch Ness Monster? Maybe an Ostrich? is there any Long-necked bug? or even a creature from any games?

Experimenting with what kinds of neck behaviors I can do for my creatures. A giraffe or a long-necked lizard probably behaves differently. Idk, maybe I will find something interesting.

DevLog 010 - This week has been tough for many reasons. This neck thing will be use in all kinds of creatures, so it needs to be flexible in its behavior. It will work for tails, feathers, hair... 😵
But now it is time to code some animations to bring our game to life.

This gave me some troubles making it look more natural, but it is working now. I like it when enemies follow your position with their heads. I remember playing Mario Odyssey, and being very impressed at how Mario will move his head and look at things around.

T&D 003 : So they are Tig & Duck.
But who are you?
Let's say Hi! in the comments.
Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying yourselves.
Let's get to know each other 😊

DevLog 009 - Coding physics for these chains. I can pull them from the head or tail or lock them in place from either end. Would this work for some sort of weapon? They were meant to be the necks and tails for creatures, but now I think I can use them in many other ways.

Turns out, necks can be very expressive. I am trying some control for the necks so they can be of use. More coming soon!
