good morning from Lincoln Memorial West, still in the hands of the free people
I'm sure it's obvious from the picture but that sucker is not computerized (i can't even tell if it's motorized), it's a Singer industrial with the wildest free motion/hopping foot i have ever seen so it must be purpose built for embroidery
i hit the streets last night and spoke to a few of THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE OF NEW YORK
rain is done concrete beaches are open wake the hell up chicago
listened to this and immediately bought a bag of lemons

still thinking about delicious katz pastrami so went to green street meats which is supposedly the best pastrami in chicago. It was pretty good, half the price of katz’s but half the size. And the beef was not as tender, which would bring such shame to upton sinclair
I feel like this is basically nyc, mythically horrible reputation but the people by and large are incredibly warm and welcoming
"I'm just happy that I could look at my grandkids and be like, I was there," said Daniel Silva, 37, his voice hoarse from screaming. "In a weird way, I feel fulfilled. If the Knicks just won the championship, roll your dice on your dreams. Because if this happened, your dreams have a possibility."

Last image from tonight (short film in the morning): this brother out here with his Singer sewing machine, gifting people a custom embroidery on their jerseys and hats with the name and the date, was more artistic than anything at Burning Man and ad gorgeous as a Caravaggio.
Magic!
Goodnight.

I thought the world cup was going to be a nightmare, but I forgot that we actually love when people like us
