I had early access to Opus 4.8. Was impressed by it. Here is Opus 4.8's one shot of "create a visually interesting shader that can run in twigl, make it like an infinite city of neo-gothic towers partially drowned in a stormy ocean with large waves" (this is all done with math, no premade assets)
I mention this because there's no reason that people with basic or no craft skills who use AI to bring their ideas to life won’t go on to develop those skills when they want more control. [2/2]
My first web page was a template. After a while I wanted to customise it. So I learned how to view the source, and started tinkering. Eventually I understood HTML. I turned that into a 15-year career as a Web developer. [1/2]
