Our results show that sanitation implementers & researchers can use SanQoL-5 to monitor & evaluate sanitation progs. We found support for 87% of the hypotheses we tested about how SanQoL-5 scores vary with toilet characteristics such as locks on doors, quality of walls, or faeces being visible.
