Someone said a woman with an infant approached Daniel Radcliffe after a show. He was gracious but said, ‘Oh, that baby shouldn’t be here.’ He smiled, took a photo, thanked her for coming, and said ‘Please, take your baby home.’
(Him messing with the tarp hasn’t deterred the cats. Moments ago the two adults entered the yard like a pair of gunslingers, looking for me in the window.)
Trainspotting is even scarier than 30 yrs ago, because Renton & his sort chose life, now they’re running things.
I haven't seen the kittens in a few days, but mother didn't seem worried. As I suspected they're next door, where they were born, in the dense little landscaped bit at the back of the yard. It's fenced, so I think mum ordered them there now they're mobile & curious.

A baby on a plane is one thing. I adore my nieces, I have sympathy. In a restaurant you walk the baby around. But if you can afford a ticket to this outrageously expensive production, you can get a babysitter. Do I bother you at work? www.theguardian.com/stage/2026/j...
Coming soon: DR JONES, in which newly minted PhD Dr Henry Jones Jnr looks forward to taking his chair at the university, & is ‘too busy’ for opinions on the rise of fascism in Europe
Bodega. Do you -
- put poison around & spend money on exterminators?
- have a cat?
The guy who owns the construction materials round back asked me not to feed the cats near them, as his ladder was covered in rat droppings. I said I saw one kill a giant rat, & how many rats do you think come round if they smell cats there? 🙄
Seeing TRAINSPOTTING in the cinema later. First time since it came out. Never fail to think of Bowie loving SHALLOW GRAVE, calling Danny Boyle...
- How can I help?
- Well I'm working on this thing, it needs a lot of music, and we want to use Iggy and Lou, but we can't afford it..
