I know people say that the normal amount of pain is zero but I think all of you who say it doesn't hurt to stand or walk (at least a little) are lying
The way I cope with processing trauma is through humour, but stopping in the middle of a story to go, "Oh, yeah, I definitely got molested. That's a textbook 'I was molested as a kid' thing to say," disturbs a lot of people. For understandable reason! Much to consider.
Seeing people defend Michael Jackson or Melanie Martinez or Neil Gaiman or Kevin Spacey or Johnny Depp... I really couldn't care less who your comfort object celebrity rapist is, your defence of them tells me you buy into anti rape victim propaganda.
