I've been drawing consistently since I was a teen. I'm in my fifties now. And only very recently I've felt confident enough with my drawing mindset and skills even though I still have a lot to learn.
Those pretending to take shortcuts are fooling no one but themselves. ☝️
When I did this drawing of @rikkisimons.bsky.social for ZIM 25 years ago he insisted on an anti-A.I. button. The man was a prophet and we all failed to listen.
Reminded me of another quote by a certain ex Disney animator: "You have 10.000 bad drawings inside of you, the sooner you can get them out, the better". ✏️
