And yet, how can we tell good without evil? Life is a constant battle of antagonisms. This said, I agree the bad guys have had it too good for too long, time for some push in the opposite direction, man do we need it. 😮‍💨
Bought a new one recently, uses 2 AAA’s. I have rechargeables so I put them in, didn’t last, tried another pair, didn’t either, finally caved in and bought a pair of normal batteries at the nearby drugstore. Still going. I hate capitalism 🥲

Nino ve eso y se vuelve a morir 🪦
Reminded me of another quote by a certain ex Disney animator: "You have 10.000 bad drawings inside of you, the sooner you can get them out, the better". ✏️
I've been drawing consistently since I was a teen. I'm in my fifties now. And only very recently I've felt confident enough with my drawing mindset and skills even though I still have a lot to learn. Those pretending to take shortcuts are fooling no one but themselves. ☝️
I decided to try this myself. I ran like 20 of my drawings, from various stages of my career, through the same AI image detector. It flags them all as digitally edited (I’m a digital artist, so yeah), but not as AI. Except this one. I promise it is not AI. I drew it yesterday. I have witnesses.
I wrote that having in mind our current moment in time where reality is proving more sick and twisted than most fiction imo. People, at least for a while, will favor stories skewing optimistic / good guys finally winning type. Just like post WW2 where anything promising escapism was sought after.
It is tough, I know many peers who don't think twice about offering NSFW commissions because hey, "easy" money for them... Sometimes however it's not about being prudish, but simply not worth putting your own name and reputation on jeopardy just to make some quick sales.
Can't say I remember this, but I read once a very scathing (and likely deserved) review. Seems it didn't pass muster even with hardcore 80s nostalgics! 😅 🙈
