The current plan lacks the scale & urgency needed to meet Scotland's 2030 child poverty targets.
So we’re calling on the Scottish Govt to set out a stronger, clearer plan that delivers on its legal commitments & ensures every child has a decent start in life.
We welcome the progress made through the Scottish Child Payment. This makes a big difference to families struggling to afford the essentials.
But it’s still not enough to prevent families needing to use a food bank.
Alongside @jrf-uk.bsky.social & key partners, we're concerned the latest Scottish Government child poverty plan doesn't go far enough.
