Got misadvised on a train platform and ended up being sent back the way I came with a load of other pissed off passengers - 2 hrs added to journey - train mangers reaction was “it’s another company’s fault” & when I politely suggested an apology might be nice they looked blank #bringbackbritishrail
So, it turns out that handing post-2008 policy over to philanthrocapitalists means you get lots of funding for digital & not enough for protecting physical spaces where people can actually engage with each other more meaningfully, & that’s not good for esp young ppl, who knew
