There’s a huge difference between laws that make things illegal by controlling the behavior of businesses and laws that increase policing of individuals

I know women sacrificing themselves now for cis white men running for office who have done harm. When can the silence be broken? How can we help women share their truth & be cared for? How many people truly support the silencing of women for the cause?
Oof. This from @queenmab.bsky.social hurts to read. And is even more important because of that. How much has been lost because we’re forced- and force ourselves- to protect abusers?
