Went to see the new MissRepresentation doc today w/ @mistresssnowphd.bsky.social to support Safiya Noble & was struck by how Hillary & others on stage during the panel were conflating laws to rein in tech companies w/ age verification laws which would increase surveillance
There’s a huge difference between laws that make things illegal by controlling the behavior of businesses and laws that increase policing of individuals

A few Dem Senators are (still!!) occasionally voting yes on Trump's nominees for lifetime federal judge positions in the name of their "qualifications"
but these people are not qualified!
securing a nomination from Donald Trump is disqualifying in and of itself!
