There’s a huge difference between laws that make things illegal by controlling the behavior of businesses and laws that increase policing of individuals
Went to see the new MissRepresentation doc today w/ @mistresssnowphd.bsky.social to support Safiya Noble & was struck by how Hillary & others on stage during the panel were conflating laws to rein in tech companies w/ age verification laws which would increase surveillance

I know women sacrificing themselves now for cis white men running for office who have done harm.
When can the silence be broken? How can we help women share their truth & be cared for? How many people truly support the silencing of women for the cause?
