Cydia strobilella emerged from cones of Norway spruce I collected nine days ago, just north of Masham. The first record for VC65 and the sixth for Yorkshire. Probaby under-recorded.

The sawfly Parna apicalis on small-leaved lime at Hackfall Woods is the first definite record for Yorkshire. Thanks to @suillia.bsky.social for the confirmation.
Diurnea lipsiella in the garden trap this morning is the first record for VC65. I have now had more species in the garden this year than in any previous year, having just pipped the record total in 2022.
