Countries such as America & Russia prioritise their national interest - says this @yorkshirepost.co.uk letter. We need "Europe First" and Britain part of that.
It's a pragmatic 'Realpolitik' approach - "relevant as the folly of #Brexit becomes clearer" and important non-US alliances are rebuilt.
