We need to adopt a "git gud" mentality to reading and critical thinking. People should be ridiculed for bad logic, not for bad Mario Kart technique.

I’m increasingly convinced that people find books boring because they don’t read anything challenging. Like, they want a frictionless intellectual experience akin to an Olestra potato chip sliding through their colon, of course they’re bored.
