My smoke alarm went off for about 15 seconds at 4 am this morning.
Pretty sure it was a spider crawling over the sensor.
Scared the shit out of me and the kids and there's no way I'm getting back to sleep but at least we know the smoke alarms work, I guess?
The Washington State fair serves vanilla, chocolate, AND strawberry soft serve ice cream which is an enormous step up from most places in the state that only serve vanilla and chocolate but still worlds away from the soft serve of my childhood in upstate NY which would do shit like this:
