The Franklin St paving in Downtown Oakland is done, and the guide line markings for the upcoming curbside protected bikeway are going in. Yes, there will be concrete separation between the bikeway & car parking.
Big news in Hayward this month, where City Council approved the “Civic Ave” concept for reversing 2013’s disastrous “downtown loop” freeway bypass project that @bikeeastbay.bsky.social opposed & warned about at the time.
