He changed the Labour Party so that we could change the country. We are only in government today because of the tireless work he did as our Leader. Thank you, Keir, we wish you and your family the best for the future.
Veteran #Labour MP calls for leadership #election Graham Stringer a Labour MP in Greater #Manchester since '97 says #Burnhams "record on being consistent on his policy & delivering is less than perfect..I absolutely prefer there to be a [leadership] contest..Andys ideas & views tested in debate" ALT
What a huge mistake our country has made.
Just waiting for the columnists who helped push Keir Starmer out of office to write the inevitable comment pieces: "Whisper it: Starmer was much better than people gave him credit for", and "Actually, Burnham is obviously much worse than Starmer..."
I guess Suella simply forgot that May, Johnson, Truss, and Sunak all became PM without standing as the Tory Party leader in a general election. Perhaps it's a little harder to explain why she forgot that she too attempted to become de facto PM in precisely the same way when Johnson resigned.
I told him about the wonderful support he had, especially from those who’d signed up to the β€˜Hold the Line’ campaign. I know many of you wanted to know he knew he had support. Thank you xxx
Keir Starmer had the capacity to become one of our greatest ever PMs. Little shits not fit to lick his boots, allied to a media funded by dark right-wing forces, have conspired to prevent that from happening, for their own foul motives. I hope they rot in hell.
I saw the Prime Minister in Number 10 today. He was as gracious and kind as he always is as he addressed some of us to thank us for our support. His focus is on helping whoever takes on the role from him. 1/2
No mandate!’ cries Zia Yusuf β€” the man who bought a front-row seat in Reform without ever facing the voters. The irony is doing heavy lifting.

Haven't you called on Starmer to resign at least three times now, adding to the problem instead of helping to mend it isn't a good look.
