This new policy is about what kind of world we want our kids to grow up in. I think giving children 3 more years of their lives back before they typically access these addictive platforms is a good thing.
A good Father’s Day.
As well as giving your feedback directly to Government, I've also worked on this with the Education Select Committee to gather evidence on the proposed policy, including from the example set in Australia.
To be clear, I think this is the right move. The profit-driven algorithms that social media companies use to capture and keep our attention have advanced so much in recent years, that children are spending more time than ever growing up on devices.
