Absolutely delighted that our latest paper is out today @natimmunol.nature.com. It has taken five years to uncover a role for cross-presentation in shaping the immune visibility of tumour antigens. A labour of love led by @drjonlim.bsky.social and Oliver Schulz. Great start of 2026!

The 2025 MRS Early Career Research Virtual Meeting is a two day meeting aimed at engaging trainees and early career researchers from around the world and highlighting recent advances in metastasis research through keynote presentations, invited talks, panel discussions, and selected talks from abstracts. The meeting is organized and hosted by the Early Career Leadership Council (ECLC) of the MRS. Abstracts are being accepted for consideration for oral presentations. Abstract submission is open to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, residents, clinical fellows, and researchers within 3 years of starting their own independent research group. Registration for this meeting is free for MRS Members!
We're now recruiting early career group leaders at the Crick to lead ambitious research programmes and explore bold scientific questions.

Researchers at the Crick have uncovered how certain proteins that become exposed on dying tumour cells can be detected by the immune system, alerting it to the cancer’s presence and prompting an immune response.

The next SMyLe seminar is coming up soon! Please join us on March 24th at 16.30 at ETH Höngg (HCI J6) or via Zoom (ethz.zoom.us/j/63706799264) for a talk by @adrover.bsky.social "From Guardians to Foes: Cancer-induced host remodelling and neutrophil plasticity drive tumour necrosis and metastasis"
Dying tumour cells alert the immune system to fight cancer.
