At this point, I genuinely believe the entire public is being actively gaslit by both the media, and Esther Ghey herself, into forgetting that Brianna Ghey was murdered, by people she knew from school, in real life, who were partly influenced by transphobia, fuelled by the media and politicians.
For that matter, has widespread government censorship of a vast range of information sources ever been a good thing?
Question: Has there ever, in human history, outside of major national disasters, been a point when the government instituting a nationwide curfew was a good sign? Especially when it's supposed to only target a specific population group?

Seriously, if I thought the parliamentary standards committee would actually do anything, I could report my own MP for breaching as many as 6 out of their 7 principles of public life. That's how far down we are around here.
