Please submit a comment on this proposed set of funding rules by July 13, it'll allow the cancellation of any federal grant and block spending if applicants or institutions don't pass a political litmus test (like supporting trans ppl whatsoever).

If you guessed "biodegrade", you're correct! They basically melt and become impossible to remove from the bin intact.
Anyway I'm fully expecting the folks processing these new bins are going to hate me in short order.
Fun little aside: My area recently started collecting food waste as part of an expansion of its existing recycling scheme. Everyone got a cute little bin with a roll of biodegradable bags. Good for the environment, yay.

Outside of the obvs ethical and environmental concerns, a fear of deskilling and/or building an unecessary dependency into your workflow is a very reasonable reason to opt out of generative ai use.
