SFFGS just doubled the size of its teaching/research/extension forest property by adding the 2,600-acre Hickory Sink property.
Combined with Austin Cary Forest campus, that's more than 5,000 acres to learn from.
He specializes in prescribed fire, ecological restoration, and administration.
Cully earned his bachelor's degree in wildlife ecology and conservation and his master's degree in forest resources and conservation from UF.
The statewide competition introduces students to practical applications of trigonometry used in the surveying and mapping industry, and pairs local surveyors with classrooms to showcase an exciting but often overlooked profession with promising math students.
It's the 1st forest hurricane wind damage study at its scale, and for the 1st time @ufl.edu students and faculty conducted experiments with living organisms in the NHERI Wind Research Facility at the ESSIE Powell Family Structures and Materials Laboratory.

Thousands of folks visit the fishing ponds at the @ifas.ufl.edu Fisheries & Aquatics Sciences facility on Millhopper Road each year.
