Having a Jewish-Arab party is a landmark first for Israel, and absolutely the direction things need to go. A fair and democratic country can only come from a government of all of the people.
That Standing Together is still standing (together) is miraculous given how much hate they’ve faced.
What’s inspiring about them is not that they have all the answers, but that they aren’t afraid to have some very necessary and uncomfortable questions and conversations.
