A thing about JD Vance Is that extremism researchers can tell he hangs out in Nazi forums because he repeats popular Nazi talking points from those forums pretty much verbatim.

And that's Vance in a nutshell: even his racism and misogyny are utterly unoriginal. He's a person who wholly lacks curiosity about the world he lives in. He's clearly made no effort to gain a better understanding of public policy during his time in the Senate and as VPOTUS.
