Looking over the Kamogawa river and Sanjo Ohashi bridge at blue hour after sunset. The paper lanterns on the outdoor dining terraces (kawayuka) are all aglow.

Standing over Wilshire Blvd. in the new LA County Museum of Art. The street, newly reconstructed, looks like a perfect LEGO reproduction. The subway being built underneath Wilshire Blvd. opened last month.
