私の父の故郷・愛知県は日本全体が貧しかった昭和30年代でも、 普通の会社員が出始めの軽自動車や小型乗用車を所有し、個人商店主がメッサーシュミットKR200や BMWイセッタを愛用する等マイカー普及率が異様に高く、 幹線道路整備とアスファルト舗装は首都圏より進んでいたという。 そうしたモータリゼーションの先進性が、現在の名古屋のクルマ趣味環境に繋がっていると思う。
