Wrote up some thoughts on the Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade. The visual issues aren't as bad as X, but performance leaves a lot to be desired in some areas. I would still play this over the S1 version though.
Kyoto Xanadu in Weekly Famitsu No. 1951.
Made a rough outline of the games I'm interested in getting that have an announced release date between now & the end of the year. I'm probably missing something simply because I forgot & of course missing the ones that only have a release window, but no date yet.
Here's my interview with Fumito Ueda, which I genuinely think is one of the best I've had in some time. We talk about if people seeing an "Ueda style" is constraining, an obscure PS2 helicopter game that inspired part of GenAtlas, WALL-E, and yes, the shooting www.rpgsite.net/interview/20...
I wasn't expecting this when I bought my SuperStation, but the console I've had the most fun exploring on the device is actually the N64. I have a lot of nostalgia for the N64 but I've never really explored the system's catalog outside of the games my older brother owned back in the day.

We talk to Fumito Ueda about how Gen Atlas embraces, and diverges from, the distinct tone and style of his previous games.
Yeah, at this point in time I would say Capcom. They have so many big franchises that are still highly regarded by players and critics for the most part. In the past I think you could have also said Konami or Square (at least in the RPG space).
Still in the middle of listening to the episode but just wanted to say that I'm absolutely loving the Wario sound effects reacting to the predictions.
Yup, I plan to check out Mischief Makers and I was just playing some Sin and Punishment the other day.
