Reading, thinking and writing are things I value/consciously develop as a disabled teacher and writer, and I will never agree that we should be chunking down books even further. Disabled readers don't need to be pandered to like this.
I generally don’t mention ME, the disease that disabled the fuck out of me & has turned every day into an extreme feat of survival, to most doctors I see. They were taught to not believe in it or that it could be as severe as it is, so telling the truth makes them think you’re a liar.
