I think this is the first time my Bluesky feed has had no UAP/UFO posts. Its been dwindling to 1 or 2. Now, none... I searched for folks that listed UAP/UFO in their profile, found only 4... looks like interest is gone. Maybe I can step back if nobody actually cares. Why do I feel relieved?
If you ever thought that science doesn't study UFOs because it is stupid, sit down & write a technical science or engineering paper. You learn very quickly why the subject doesn't get the attention it deserves. That said, if you follow the rules & write it anyway, you can overcome the obstacles.

Currently, and for the past 30yrs, the FAA advises pilots that it doesn't accept UAP/UFO reports and to report to a civilian reporting center. So, we wrote this paper as a survey of pilot reporting points and to develop recommendations on UAP reporting for the FAA.
