mobility has been a huge goal of mine this year. im visually impaired and due to my poor mental health i cant really be outside by myself, so oftentimes im stuck indoors, either at home or at work or at the doctor's office, because i just don't have the ability to go anywhere else on my own.
i hope this brings me to a point where i feel less trapped, less forgotten, and less dreary and weak all the time. i hope this helps me finally feel free, and that it gives me a healthy and positive way to deal with the stresses that are piled onto me every day.
returning to this to say it meant a lot to me seeing a lotta people come together and really talk about this. i appreciate all of you a lot and i appreciate that y'all endured my crashout and let me just speak off cuff about this because it fucking hurts a lot
i wanna talk to you guys more and meet people on here but i don't wanna keep running into random dickheads that'll frame one block me because i made a post with the word "borderline" in it
this changes everything for me because for the first time in my life ill be able to move independently and positively influence both my physical and mental health in ways i never could before. being able to take routes that keep me away from cars and smog and allow me to enjoy nature is awesome.
ive been really really quiet about this because i don't want to jinx it but i cannot contain the sheer excitement i have over finally getting an e-bike soon. ive worked myself to the bone and saved up as much as i possibly could and now its in reach and i can't wait.
