I know everyone in the USA is getting very excited about the so-called deal to reopen Hormuz and that Trump says it will be signed in Europe by the weekend...
Can I just draw your attention to the following - and remind everyone that what Trump says is true is rarely the case.
I was called "alarmist" for suggesting that Israeli forces were eyeing Syria as a potential for expansion of the "War on Hezbollah" in what I referred to as the "Western Front" of the current Gulf Crisis...

Quick update - Trump backed down and claimed the deal with Iran is now ready.
It isn’t a deal. It is the same MoU they have been discussing for weeks.
Iran still has the red lines. The USA shot down more drones and Lebanon conflict continues. Basically - more of the same.

And here is the response from Iran... Still hard on the red lines and wary of diplomacy with the USA.
So the red lines remain:
Hormuz control - USA want them to forgo it and they don't.
Seized assets - USA says they can't have them
Wider conflict - See Israel / Lebanon
Nuclear material - nope...
