March 2025: "I've been fighting to root out waste, fraud, and abuse." Tom Tiffany, May 2026: needs more time to think about $1.8 billion in taxpayer money going to Trump's slush fund.
The greatest tribute we can offer is to live in a way that honors what they gave. To care for one another. To serve the country they served. To make sure the families they left behind are never alone with that flag. With gratitude, Sara
Trump promised to lower costs on day one. Instead Wisconsin families are paying more for groceries, more for gas, more for health care, more for housing. Every single month. Congressman Tom Tiffany has done zilch about it. That tells you everything you need to know.
Our state is home to generations of Gold Star families, communities that have sent their sons and daughters to serve, and veterans who returned carrying the memory of friends who did not. From cemeteries where flags line the rows this weekend to empty seats at family tables, today belongs to them.
From Kenosha to Superior, and every stop in between, each conversation reminds me how much is at stake. Wisconsinites are working hard and still coming up short on health care, childcare, housing, groceries. That's not okay. And it's why I'm running to make life more affordable.
I’m humbled by your support and fired up for the fight ahead.
I grew up in a working-class family. My grandparents were dairy farmers, my mom was a union teaching assistant, and my dad served during Vietnam and fixed phones. I learned early what it means to work hard and still need things to go right. Those are the families I’m fighting for.
My dad taught all of his kids to fold a flag the way he'd been taught in the Navy during Vietnam. I grew up understanding what military service asks of a family. My father came home. Too many didn't — and across Wisconsin today, families still hold the flag that was folded for them.
Wisconsin hasn’t had a Democratic governor and Democratic majorities in the legislature in over 15 years. This is our shot – governor, legislature, all of it. That’s the difference between fighting for Wisconsin families and delivering for them.
I’m pretty sure half of Waukesha county was out this morning. Kids everywhere, lawn chairs all along the route. Grateful for a Memorial Day spent with neighbors.
