It's no surprise that someone like Valerie would be so eager for the Rubbermon procedure. While many may associate her with Sylveon, her love of fashion left her with a desire for a showier form. She can even do a lot of tailoring with her talons, when she's not covering them to model new footwear.
While I may not be the biggest fan of that circus show- I can appreciate a fun character design and more specifically when it would look good pouring over one of my close friends like a vat of paint flung at them from across the room- squeezing their body into shape as they're utterly transformed.
