because of her activism, a trans woman can go to prison if a cis man says she didn’t disclose her transness to him, & then she’ll be raped forever in male prison. JK shut down rape crisis centers for being trans inclusive.

I was clinging on to hope that I may, possibly, be able to stay in the UK.
Today that is not a possibility anymore. Expect FWS to take more cases demolishing trans human rights.

The Court of Session has ruled today that the Scottish Prison Service’s policy of conducting a risk assessment for each trans prisoner and then deciding whether to place them on the men’s or women’s prison estate, is unlawful.

This is the first time in UK history that trans women have been 'blanket banned' from women's prisons.
The first case was in 1982, regarding a post-op trans woman, she was placed in a women's prison. For decades this area of law has correctly operated on a case by case basis.
The Scottish government will hopefully create legislation compliant with both FWS and trans human rights. If they do not, the alternative is solitary confinement for the few post-op trans women in prison.
