Look, I get it, this *sounds* great for defence, security and the environment. But this erases risks entailed in integrating environment & defence. Eg itโs not just re wetting bogs, these schemes also come with military infrastructure that blocks wildlife migration & damages ecosystems

Unrest = orchestrated loyalist mob.
& these werenโt โdemonstrationsโ they were thugs attempting a racist pogrom, kicking in doors & forcing people out of their homes based on the colour of their skin
Real efforts have been made, and recent lines on the chart do go in the right direction. But what if they are wobbles, not turns.

Hooray - really pleased to see this report & arguments set out for the need to see climate and biodiversity crises as linked. Iโm so often irritated by the idea that climate takes precedence over everything else when the feedback loops between interlocking crises are so obvious. We can do better โฌ๏ธ
