The idea being peddled in some quarters that the problem here is the Common Travel Area and a frictionless Irish border need to give their heads a wobble.
I think it’s so they don’t have to talk to you? Equally heinously -why do they order food and drink on afternoon flights that last for 40 minutes? Poor cabin crew have to race their cart down the aisle before it lands! Perhaps it’s the same people?

right, here's something that makes me feel like I'm still fresh off the Eurostar, 17 years on: why are British people always eating on trains? I've just boarded a train at 3.30pm, by no means a mealtime, and over half of people here are snacking - why? why do trains make you people hungry?
