I just dozed off waiting for the timer to go off for dinner. The timer was for five minutes.
New #ScreenshotSaturday post (and new update to the Enigma Heart demo!) coming later today! I blogged about it briefly on my personal account (before deleting it for reasons; too much noise not enough signal), but I'm finally adding a much-requested quest log feature. More deets later! ~Clarissa
I'll likely be tweaking the visual implementation over the next couple of days: I may add some code to make the window background paper-colored with dark text, and I may swap the handwriting font out for the standard game dialogue font for readability, if players request it. (cont'd)
ngl this past month is the hardest and fastest I've ever worked on anything in my life. And my friends will tell you, I'm horrible at slowing down, taking breaks, and stepping my back from my work.
But it was important to me to get this feature live as quickly as possible, especially before #SteamNextFest ends. I'm not opposed to continuing to tweak and update the demo even with the fest going on, as I've been doing it the whole time anyway :) But yeah, here it is :D #GameDev #EnigmaHeart
