Sad news. It's extraordinary how long a tree can live for, when we can barely muster up a century for ourselves. I visit this tree quite often and it amazes me to think it was stood there, doing its own thing, while the Mona Lisa was being painted, while the Great Fire of London was happening.

I hadn't heard of Inge Morath till about two minutes ago. Now a quick search online has revealed YET ANOTHER person creating wonderful images to explore. Art is fucking great isn't it.
Ages ago, I took a few photos of sparrows eating chips and I've been meaning to have a go at drawing one of them 'properly'. So here's its head. I'll come back to this tomorrow.
