i have been obsessed with this for years. allowing manufacturers to sell direct to consumers would be good for consumers and also destroying the car dealership would be an existential crisis for republicans

Here's a New York city councilmember threatening to get a bunch of grad students in trouble with the university administration because he doesn't like the recommendations in their research project. Wildly inappropriate IMO and CUNY should tell him to pound sand.
The reality is that most non voters have even worse (in the sense of unworkable, incoherent) politics than the median voter

I feel it’s sort of underrated the extent to which a Dem Congress and/or states could (1) absolutely destroy car dealerships as a business, and (2) this would cripple a lot of GOP state and local parties

I was wondering how our single stair prototype might land in less urban settings where there would be a bit less density & more parking, but keeping all the benefits (light, air, accessibility, density, cargo bike garage). So, this is 100' frontage. 1.4FSR With a drive aisle and at grade parking.

I have a strong opinion that the cat is the superior choice over dogs for city dwellers. But to each their own.
Trump seems to be quiet quitting. Totally checked out. Looking noticeably older and out of it as well.

She’s got a VPN, or several already, she’s just not stupid enough to admit it. “Soup for my family” type beat
My office is putting car dealerships on notice. Today, we issued an advisory asserting that Massachusetts law requires transparent pricing in ads. Purchasing a car is a significant investment, you deserve upfront pricing, not hidden fees. I'll hold companies accountable to protect your bottom line.
Attn Minneapolis queers + allies: our outdated bathhouse ban is up for a city council vote next week. Council members from Wards 3, 5, 7 (DOWNTOWN, NE & LORING PARK) are currently NOT supportive of repealing the ban. Wards 4, 6, 13 are on the fence (11 will be absent). They need to hear from you!!

I dunno what to think other than it seems really easy these days to make almost anything divisive or controversial. Would this have happened a couple decades ago? I highly doubt it.
